What could make a person lose sleep with excitement and hardly able to sit still?
Why, a Steampunk Convention, of course!
Last year was my first experience with a Steampunk convention. It was held in Layton, Utah and was probably the single most nerdy but AWESOME event I have ever attended.
I went with a few pieces of jewelry on and thought I would look like an idiot. Turns out that my friend and I were the only two not completely dressed up!
The costumes, the jewelry, the repurposed guns and so much more made me feel like a little kid in a toy shop. It was all too much to take in. And then an idea crept into my mind...I wanted to have a booth at one of these conventions!
The jewelry I saw was cool and all...but nothing compared to some of the crazy things I'd strung together (not to toot my own horn haha).
My thought turned into words and my words turned into actions! This year, I will hold a booth at the Salt Lake City Steamfest August 1&2!!!
